The Pedal Car Challenge can add a business twist to the traditional team-building day. Teams begin with incomplete sets of pedal-car parts and must work out how to obtain everything they need. With the optional trading challenge, teams are given a budget and must negotiate, trade and make strategic decisions with other teams before they can complete their vehicle. Once the cars are built, the competition moves onto the track.
